Annaly Capital Management, Inc. est un gestionnaire de capital diversifié dont les stratégies d'investissement portent sur le financement hypothécaire. La société possède un portefeuille d'investissements liés à l'immobilier, notamment des certificats hypothécaires, des obligations hypothécaires garanties, des titres de transfert de risque de crédit (CRT) et d'autres titres représentant des intérêts ou des obligations garanties par des pools de prêts hypothécaires, des prêts hypothécaires résidentiels et des droits de gestion hypothécaire (MSR). Ses groupes d'investissement comprennent Annaly Agency Group, Annaly Residential Credit Group et Annaly Mortgage Servicing Rights Group. Annaly Agency Group investit dans des titres adossés à des créances hypothécaires d'agences (MBS) garantis par des prêts hypothécaires résidentiels. Annaly Residential Credit Group investit dans des actifs hypothécaires résidentiels non-agents sur les marchés résidentiels et commerciaux. Annaly Mortgage Servicing Rights Group investit dans des MSR, qui donnent le droit de gérer des prêts hypothécaires résidentiels en échange d'une partie des paiements d'intérêts.
