Isofol Medical AB (publ) est une société pharmaceutique suédoise en phase clinique. Son principal produit est la modufoline, le métabolite actif. Modufolin est un composé à base de folate, qui augmente l'efficacité et réduit les effets secondaires de la chimiothérapie. Modufolin contient la substance active clé, le méthylène-tétrahydrofolate (MTHF), qui est le métabolite actif de tous les médicaments à base de folate et qui ne nécessite donc pas d'activation métabolique pour exercer son action. La société coopère avec le fabricant pharmaceutique Merck & Co Inc, et a conclu un accord mondial de fourniture et de licence pour l'utilisation de la modufoline dans le traitement du cancer. Les principaux actionnaires de la société sont Biofol AB et Yield Life Science AB.
